These are all occasion cakes I have done. Anniversary, showers, retirements, holidays, graduations, going away parties, sports events and weddings.
This cake was made in June 2010 for my uncles retirement party. The idea was to put things on the cake he loved to do or just loved. We gave my aunt and him our hot tub and they love to sit in it and watch tv. They love their 3 dogs, they love to watch the deer on their 80 acres, and they love to hunt for morel mushrooms. So in the other pictures you will see close up of these. All edible except dogs, and deer.
The wedding cake set up at reception hall. I love the set up of this cake. Really easy. I don't do wedding cakes normally because of the stress but this was for my cousin who I am very close to. Myself, my husband and my kids were in the wedding too. So I needed to have something made that could be set up easily and not stacked and tiered. They wanted 3 chocolate with buttercream, one vanilla and one vanilla with my homemade raspberry filling. All shells were white chocolate, and hand dusted with edible pearl dust. I made about 100-120. Each layer was decorated different with shells, starfish or sand dollars. They were topped with brown sugar for sand effect and more shells and edible pearls. You can see the effect in the pictures below. July 2010
